@aezolase and @posh, did you meet and surpass the necessary pass marks for your chosen fields? What’s were your scores in comparison to the other students who were allowed to study the courses you wanted so badly?

There are many other students or people who get exactly what they want out of life. They’re living their dreams.

I used to share the same sentiment with @tobyphd until my distant cousin won the last BBN and changed our lives with the prize money. My dad drove a good car for the first time, my stepmom was able to afford her kidney transplant and I’m now back in school. And of course you can imagine the benefits to his immediate family.

I wish I could say something against BBN but even this phone I’m browsing with was purchased out of the profits of business our cousin established for us at that time.

So I don’t want to be a hypocrite.

My sister just read this article on my phone. She said it had taught her to hide her true feelings if her boyfriend annoys her. She will keep those ugly parts until they get married. I feel sorry for the guy now cuz when he does something to annoy my sister, she will not respond with her true ugly attitudes which I know so well. The boyfriend will think she has passed his anger test. But she has cheated on that test by reading this article. ….

I just saw now that she copied and what sapped this article to her phone, I’m sire she will be  posting it to her ladies whatsapp group.

We have to device another secret test to test our future wives and we can’t afford to put it on the internet for them to se again.

    • @cantanca, it  doesn’t seem to me that those character traits you mentioned automatically makes you an extrovert. As a psychiatrist with more than 10 hours experience, I think you’re suffering from certain issues. The things you explained up there are symptoms of hyper activity, attention deficit disorder and loneliness.  You just feel restless after a while because of attention deficit disorder, you cannot concentrate on something. Also, you just need someone to interact with at all cost, you’re lonely . You can’t just stay by yourself. Your life is dull and uneventful, hence, you don’t enjoy your own company. Please speak with a certified psychiatrist before you slip into depression or become suicidal. You must learn to enjoy your own company, even the most extroverted people still enjoy times is solitude. Cheers!

Also, that boss is sexist… he would be sued for all that diatribe in Europe. I’m sure he’s a Nigerian.

    Very nice.

The general consensus, though, is that of all things God created, humans are the most important. After all we are created in His own image….I’m wondering now why he did not put us deep in the underground, or deep in the ocean, or high in the skies like other precious things mentioned in this article. Instead he just put us on the bare at surface as if we’re not worth anything….Maybe it  means we are not precious…..oh…wait! Maybe that’s why all these boko Haram throw bombs around…they think we’re not precious, after all, if we were precious we wouldn’t be soooo accessible…….and …..I’m just thinking out loud here o….who brought about the concept of wearing clothes? Was it God? He created Adam and eve naked , isn’t it? It was Adam who decided he needed some designer jeans, I mean leaves, Versace  leaves, to cover is ancient d*ck. And what type of dress did you think eve wore at that time? A button-down gown abi? Please don’t get me started…

Question from article: “Are we really jazzed as a Country?”

My answer: what has jazz music got to do with it. The fact jazz is not a genre of music being really practiced by Nigerian musicians does not mean they’re are not doing well in other genres like r&b, hiphop, etc. And if anything, music entertainment in Nigeria has provided many jobs to otherwise jobless youths. So let’s not give jazz a bad name!

Well, as an archaeologist with more than a total of 16 hours experience, I can tell you that some coins are worth much more than paper money. In some cases, a single coin is worth more than a thousand dollars! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_coin.  And many times, when you’re uplifted you should not really be silent. Truly valuable people speak out. They ate not silent. Case in point, fela anikulapo kuti, Martin Luther King Jr, Edward snowden, moshood abiola, etc.

“……but that doesn’t mean I won’t beat the crap out of anyone who stands his way and vice versa…”

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Everyday you wake up with gratitude, get down on your kneels and thank your  heavenly father for the gift of life, the gift of family…. nice… and then you proceed to beat the CRAP out of anyone who stands in your brother’s way, including Fred, when he was standing in your brother’s way when your brother was trying to seduce an underage girl.</p>

    “They tell you a story through one look;
Little gist of it can fill a book.”

This is sooo true. I once met a man very briefly. I was on the escalator going up while he was coming down. We passed by each other and he “gave me one look” and that single brief look told me a story. Here is the story:

Once upon a time in a very far distant land, a woman, sorry, a man. A man decided he wanted a new wife. As the laws of the land do not allow polygamy, he decided to go to a place where polygamy will be allowed. He packed all his belongings and set out one early morning. 4 days after, he met a farmer on a narrow path and asked him if he ……..

Unfortunately, the look this man gave me was too brief to catch the whole story. But never mind, if I ever run into this guy again in the mall, I would make sure to hold his gaze and look in his eyes, and I promise you I would come back here to finish the rest of the story that I will read “through one look”

Nice post… no objections whatsoever….from me, that is. But I don’t know about all these kids abandoned in front of orphanages, and those that came out of Nigerian “baby factories”. They just might object.

“Have you ever wondered why a lot of guys flex life with very hot babes and end up marrying one very humble looking lady?”

What does a humble looking lady look like? I’d like to compare her to my wife.
