    Two of my referrals now have complained about not been able to complete their registration due to inability to view the recaptcha on their browsers.

    Please what can be done?

    Hello @samson,

    That is strange – the recaptcha appears to be working.

    If they are unable to use another browser, can you get them to email me at [email protected] with their details, as specified in the form (except for the password they want to use)?

    I will create their accounts with a password that I will tell them, but they should change their password as soon as they log in.

    I tried registering one and got to know that the captcha selects browser.

    According to what I read from where I clicked, it is only supported on Google chrome, Safari and Android native browser (4.0+) for mobile.

    Is there any way the support could be brought down to Opera mini and UC browser as these are the most common on mobiles or are there implications?

    Thanks very much for the information, @samson. Your detective work is much appreciated. 🙂

    We will start looking for alternatives to reCaptcha that will work across  more browsers.

    @samson,

    This is to let you and your friends know that the reCaptcha has been removed from the registration page.

    Henceforth, anyone wishing to sign up can do so, but they will be required to wait for Admin approval before logging in and posting; however, such a wait should be no more than a few hours.

    @samson I noticed this too.

    My referrals who tried registering with phones encountered this same issue…

    I had to advise them to go to a cyber cafe or use a laptop…

    They tried that and it worked.

    Thank you, babe.
    I thought I was the only one getting those complains.

    Although, the Admin has completely removed the challenge, I fancied it as a very good means of check robots only if it could be supported by most used browsers like Opera Mini and Uc Web.

    The Cyber Cafe or computer alternate is also a great idea if such issue ever occurs again.
